Thus, male rats in which catalepsy was induced by oral administration of 15 mg trifluoperazine/kg, giveng 10 mg I-HCl/kg orally 2 1/2 h following trifluoperazine dosing induced 100% recovery. The results gave an ED50 value of 3.6 mg I-HCl/kg.
