Thus, hydrolyzing CF3CH2CH2Si(Me)Cl2 [675-62-7] at 5.degree. with sufficient H2O to form 20% HCl gives 1,3,5,7-tetramethyl-1,3,5,7-tetrakis(3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)cyclotetrasiloxa ne (I) [429-67-4]. Heating 50 parts I and 40 ppm Cs silanol salt 2 hr at 80.degree. with addn. of 0. 26949-69-9 and 61678-15-7 which are cas registry numbers of substances are two of reagents here.2 part H2O after 20 and 30 min gives 55% polymer [26949-69-9], viscosity 60,000 cP. Heating this oil 10, Bu2Sn(OCOC11H23)2 0.1, and C8F18 30 g with azeotropic H2O distn. gives a rubber resistant to swelling by hydrocarbons. .
