The molar ratio between lactose and CMCS was in this covalence conjugate. The best mass ratio of DNA to LacCMCS was 1:10 in DNA/LacCMCS which could deliver gene into cells, and the maximal inhibition rate was 83.6%. In vitro, the lactosaminated carboxymethylchitosan can effectively deliver DNA into cells. .
