DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 5 (Agrochemicals) The yields of pea from healthy seed immersed for 15 min in 5 g TMTD [137-26-8]/kg, in a mixt. of TMTD with 10-6 g aminobenzimidazole (I) [934-22-5]/mL, in a mixt. of TMTD with 10-4 g benzimidazole [51-17-2]/mL, and in 0.01% p-nitrophenol (II) [100-02-7] were 293, 264, 298, and 255 g/m2, resp., as compared to 228 g/m2 in controls. The leaf blight infection caused by spraying the plants after flowering with an Ascochyta pisi spore suspension was 2.2, 1.8, 2.4, and 2.4%, resp., as compared to 3.0% in controls. 137-26-8 and 100-02-7 are just another two chemicals used in this study. I and benzimidazole alone were ineffective. Immersion of infected seed in TMTD, II, TMTD + I, TMTD + benzimidazole, I alone, and benzimidazole alone decreased the infection from 89% to 84, 83, 81, 82, 86, and 85%, resp. .
