General Description
3-HYDROXY-2-PHENYL-2,3-DIHYDRO-4(1H)-QUINOLINONE, also known as norcantharidin, is a synthetic quinoline derivative with potential anticancer and antitumor activities. It selectively inhibits protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells. 3-HYDROXY-2-PHENYL-2,3-DIHYDRO-4(1H)-QUINOLINONE has shown promising results in preclinical studies, demonstrating its ability to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis in various cancer types, including lung, breast, and prostate cancer. Additionally, it has also been found to suppress angiogenesis and enhance the immune response against cancer cells.
