General Description

DL-Glutamic acid gamma-anilide, also known as Benzol-Glutamic acid or Benzoylglutamic acid, is a chemical compound derived from glutamic acid and aniline. It is commonly used in the production of pharmaceuticals and as an intermediate in organic synthesis. DL-GLUTAMIC ACID GAMMA-ANILIDE is a white to off-white crystalline solid with a slight characteristic odor. It is soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. DL-Glutamic acid gamma-anilide is also known to have potential applications in the field of neurobiology, particularly in the study of glutamate receptors and neurotoxicity. Additionally, it is also utilized in the production of aqueous polyurethane dispersions and as an industrial intermediate.
