PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound that has an excellent pest control efficacy. SOLUTION: Provided are a 2,6-dichloro-3,5-difluoro-4-substituted benzyl ester of chrysanthemic acids represented by the following formula (XIX), and a pest control agent and a pest control method using the same. Examples of the substituent include a methyl group, a methoxymethyl group and the like.
