General Description

1-bromo-2-fluoro-5-methyl-4-nitrobenzene is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C7H5BrFNO2. It is an aromatic compound that consists of a benzene ring with a bromine atom, a fluorine atom, a methyl group, and a nitro group attached to it. Benzene, 1-bromo-2-fluoro-5-methyl-4-nitro- is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. It is also used as a building block in organic synthesis and as a reagent in chemical reactions. 1-bromo-2-fluoro-5-methyl-4-nitrobenzene is a pale yellow solid with a melting point of 39-41°C and a boiling point of 170-172°C. It is a hazardous chemical and should be handled and stored with caution.
