- REACTION OF METHYL PERFLUOROMETHACRYLATE WITH SILYLATED AMINES

The reaction of methyl perfluoromethacrylate with various silylated amines was studied.It was shown that nonamethyltrisilazane does not react with perfluoromethacrylate, N-(alkyl)hexamethyldisilazanes give ketene imines, and N,N-dialkylsilazanes give enamines.N-Methyltrimethylsilazane and hexamethyldisilazane react with the formation of stable enamines, stabilized by an intramolecular hydrogen bond.Pyrolysis of the enamine containing the NHSiMe3 group leads to the 2-cyano-3,3,3-trifluoropropionic ester.
