5,6-Dihydropyrimido[5′,4′: 5,6]pyrido[1,2-a]benzimidazole and pyrimido[4′,5′: 4,5]pyrimido[1,6-a]-benzimidazole derivatives were synthesized starting from 3-[4-hydroxy-6-methyl(hydroxy)-2-phenylpyrimidin-5-yl] propanoic and 4-hydroxy-2-phenylpyrimidine-5-carboxylic acids.
