SPANphos ligands in palladium-catalyzed asymmetric fluorination
Jacquet, Olivier,Clement, Nicolas D.,Blanco, Carolina,Belmonte, Marta Martinez,Benet-Buchholz, Jordi,Van Leeuwen, Piet W. N. M.
experimental part, p. 4844 - 4852 (2012/10/18)
The synthesis of new enantiopure wide-bite-angle diphosphanes is described as well as their use in the palladium-catalyzed asymmetric fluorination of α-cyanoacetates. Enantiomeric excesses up to 93 % were obtained when Pd(OAc)2-SPANphos was use
Thermolysis kinetics of diethyl 2,3-dicyano-2,3-di(p-substituted phenyl)succinates
Qi, Chenze,Shao, Linjun,Lu, Yueqing,Wang, Chen,Zhang, Xian-Man
body text, p. 523 - 528 (2012/07/28)
An experimental approach was developed to determine the intrinsic thermolysis rate constants of the central carbon-carbon bond during the dl/meso isomerization of diethyl 2,3-dicyano-2,3-di(p-substituted phenyl)succinates (G=H, Me, OMe, Cl, and NO2/
Potassium fluoride on alumina: Oxidative coupling of acidic carbon compounds with diiodine
Villemin,Alloum
, p. 3169 - 3179 (2007/10/02)
Diiodine reacts at room temperature with activated methylene compounds in the presence of potassium fluoride on alumina and saturated dimers, unsaturated dimers or trimers were formed according to the stoechiometry of the reaction. The reactions were improved by using ultrasound activation.
The C-Arylation of α-Cyano Esters and Malononitriles by Aryllead(IV) Triacetates
Kozyrod, Robert P.,Morgan, Jacqueline,Pinhey, John T.
, p. 369 - 376 (2007/10/02)
The arylation of soft carbon nucleophiles by aryllead(IV) triacetates has been extended to α-cyano esters and malononitriles.Arylation did not occur with the parent compounds, ethyl cyanoacetate and malononitrile, but in both series monosubstituted compou
