17030-76-1 Usage

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 17030-76-1 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,7,0,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 17030-76:
(7*1)+(6*7)+(5*0)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*7)+(1*6)=81
81 % 10 = 1
So 17030-76-1 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Kinetics of the reactions of hydroxyl radicals (OH) and of chlorine atoms (Cl) with methylethylether over the temperature range 274-345 K

Starkey,Holbrook,Oldershaw,Walker

, p. 231 - 236 (2007/10/03)

The rate constants for the gas-phase reactions between methylethylether and hydroxyl radicals (OH) and methylethylether and chlorine atoms (Cl) have been determined over the temperature range 274-345 K using a relative rate technique. In this range the rate constants vary little with temperature and average values of kMEE+OH = (6.60-2.62+3.88) × 10-12 cm3 molecule-1 s-1 and kMEE+Cl = (34.9 ± 6.7) × 10-11 cm3 molecule-1 s-1 were obtained. The atmospheric lifetimes of methylethylether have been estimated with respect to removal by OH radicals and Cl atoms to be ca. 2 days and ca. 30-40 days, respectively.
