Uses
Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
MonoMethyl Dolastatin 10 is used as a tubulin inhibitor for the development of site-specific antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). These ADCs are designed to selectively target and deliver the potent anti-cancer agent to cancer cells, minimizing damage to healthy cells and reducing side effects. The conjugation of MMAD to monoclonal antibodies allows for the precise targeting of specific cancer cells, enhancing the therapeutic efficacy and selectivity of the treatment.
Biological Activity
mmad is a highly potent inhibitor of tubulin [1].mmad is one of the auristatins, which are used as the drugs of antibody drug conjugates (adcs). in adcs, the therapeutic compounds and the high selectivity of antibodies are combined by the linkers. by taking advantage of antigen-selectivity of mabs, it can deliver these cytotoxic drugs to antigen-expressing tumor cells, thus increasing both the efficacy and safety of therapy. as a payload of adcs, mmad is used to target the tubulin of the tumor cells. it can interfere with tubulin polymerization and induce rapid cell death at low picomolar concentrations [1].additionally, mmad is reported to be used in the production of site-specific antibody drug conjugates (ndcs). in the ndcs, mmad is combined with anti-5t4 antibody or anti-her2 antibody. it is shown that the ndcs demonstrate better efficacy and pharmacokinetics [2].

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 203849-91-6 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 2,0,3,8,4 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 203849-91:
(8*2)+(7*0)+(6*3)+(5*8)+(4*4)+(3*9)+(2*9)+(1*1)=136
136 % 10 = 6
So 203849-91-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Dolastatin 10 (1) is a potent antineoplastic pentapeptide. Novel dolastatin 10 analogs each modified at one of the constituent amino acid derivatives, were synthesized and their antitumor activity was evaluated against P388 leukemia in mice. The structural requirements for antitumor activity are discussed. Some of the analogs, 31c, 35c, 38b, and 50c showed excellent activity in vivo. Highly active 50c, which lacks the thiazole group of 1, was selected for further development as an antitumor agent.
