It is the C-terminal fragment of Collagen I and has been demonstrated to significantly increase collagen synthesis, improving the appearance of wrinkles and sagging of the aging skin.

L-Serine, N2-(1-oxohexadecyl)-L-lysyl-L-threonyl-L-threonyl-L-lysylis used as a skin conditioner for its ability to promote collagen, elastin, and glycosaminoglycan synthesis. This results in restoring skin thickness, which diminishes with age, and reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
L-Serine, N2-(1-oxohexadecyl)-L-lysyl-L-threonyl-L-threonyl-L-lysylis also used as an anti-aging agent for its ability to stimulate the growth of collagen, stretch fibers, and hyaluronic acid, improving skin moisture and the degree of locking water, increasing skin thickness, and reducing the microgroove.
Additionally, L-Serine, N2-(1-oxohexadecyl)-L-lysyl-L-threonyl-L-threonyl-L-lysylis used as an anti-inflammatory agent, controlling the secretion of specific chemicals responsible for skin aging, such as cytokines and interleukin-6, and may function in a manner similar to the anti-aging hormone, DHEA.
