Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 304693-56-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 3,0,4,6,9 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 304693-56:
(8*3)+(7*0)+(6*4)+(5*6)+(4*9)+(3*3)+(2*5)+(1*6)=139
139 % 10 = 9
So 304693-56-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 1645 - 1648 (2007/10/03)

In an effort to identify novel inhibitors of AP-1 and NF-κB mediated transcriptional activation, several analogues of ethyl 4-[(3-methyl-2,5-dioxo(3-pyrrolinyl))amino]-2-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidine-5-carb oxylate (1) were synthesized and tested in two in vitro assays. The 2-(2'-thienyl) substituted compound (11) was identified as the most potent in this series. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
