Purify dicyclopentylphosphine by distillation in a vacuum in a stream of N2 or Ar as it is air sensitive and must be stored in an inert atmosphere. [cf Neidergall Chem Ber 95 64 1962, Beilstein 16 IV 947 for dicyclohexylphosphine.]
