Nickel(II)-catalyzed carbon-carbon bond formation reaction of functionalized organozinc reagents with aromatic aldehydes
In the presence of a silylating reagent and catalytic amount of Ni(acac)2, organozinc halides reacted with aromatic aldehydes to give the corresponding dialkylation products in good to excellent yields under mild conditions.

COLLOIDAL PROPERTIES OF SODIUM 4-BENZENESULFONATE WITH REFERENCE TO PETROLEUM RECOVERY
Surface tension, conductivity and light scattering measurements at various temperatures have been used to characterize aqueous solutions of the 4-benzene-sulfonate (PhC15S-Na) micelles with increasing concentration. On the basis of the results obtained the values of critical micelle concentration, the shape and size of micelles, the number of charges on their surface and the values of thermodynamic functions have been determined.
