Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
N2-Acetyl-L-lysylglycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysinamide is used as a therapeutic agent for promoting skin health and reversing the negative effects of corticoids on collagen expression.
Used in Hair Care Industry:
N2-Acetyl-L-lysylglycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysinamide is used as a hair growth stimulant with higher activity than the reference hair growth product, Minoxidil. It helps to anchor the hair fiber into the scalp, strengthening strands and targeting the causes of hair loss. When combined with Red Clover Extract, the benefits can be accelerated, improving blood circulation to the roots and increasing hair thickness and volume.

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 Stimulate fibroblast around dermal follicle toproduce matrix protein( collagen lll, laminin.etc.)and collagen VlI, fill the hair follicle, boost hairgrowth. Its recommended dosage is 1~5%.

Biological Functions

Acetyl tetrapeptide-3 is a biomimetic peptide. It increases protein levels of type III collagen and total laminins in MRC5 human fibroblasts when used at a concentration of 1 μM. Acetyl tetrapeptide-3 reverses corticoid-induced decreases in collagen VII expression at the dermal-epidermal junction in human skin explants.
