Shaanxi Hanjiang Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd is a large-scale pharmaceutical group company with 12 share and holding companies in total of which 4 are Sino-foreign joint venture companies and 5 are holding companies. Hanjiang was founded as Shaanxi Hanjiang Pharmacy Factory in 1970. Now, the company covers an area of 180,000 m² and has 1,100 employees of  which 328 are technicians.

Hanjiang is specialized in the production and trade of APIs, intermediates, preparation and the planting of GAP standardized Chinese traditional medicines which were sold in markets of 29 provinces and cities in China and over 40 countries and areas such as Europe, America, Asian and Pacific area and Hong Kong. Hanjiang is one of the enterprises to take the lead in passing GMP for API in China. Up to now, 4 products have been approved by FDA like Levamisole Hydrochloride (CAS NO. 16595-80-5), 8 products approved by COS in Europe like Mebendazole (CAS NO. 31431-39-7), 4 main production lines have passed GMP. Hanjiang passed ISO14001 certified by State Environmental Administration System in 2002. Besides, Hanjiang is one of the model enterprises for environment protection in China.
