Suzhou No.4 Pharmaceutical Factory, founded in 1952, is situated at the foot of Tiger Hill and experienced a successful transformation of ownership in 2004. The company is specialized in the research and production of APIs and preparations and is the main supplier of Abbott and Pfizer, the world famous pharmaceutical companies.

All products are GMP certified by the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA). Lincomycin Hydrochloride (7179-49-90), the major product of the company, was certified by FDA for the first time among all products of its kind in China in 1991. Many other products of the company, such as Clindamycin (18323-44-9) Hydrochloride Ethanolate, Clindamycin Isopropylidene and Clindamycin Phosphate (24729-96-2), are FDA approved and CEP certification by EU. So far the company has export business in more than twenty countries/regions like USA, Canada, France, Germany, Brazil and India.
