A lightweight concrete foam that may be made in several ways: (1) by adding aluminum powder to the concrete mix and applying heat, which releases hydrogen; (2) by whipping air into the mix containing an entraining agent; (3) by adding preformed foam to the mix. Such foams are made from a foaming agent such as dried blood, a stabilizer, organic solvents, and a germicide.See Foam.
