    Detailed information:
    (pyrographite). A dense, nonporous graphite stronger and more resistant to heat and corrosion than ordinary graphite, intended for rocket nozzles, missiles in general, and nuclear reactors; exhibits tensile strengths 5–10 times higher than commercial graphite and maintains its strength above 3300C. It is ultrapure, impermeable to all fluids, and an anisotropic thermal and electrical conductor.
