    By adding a solution of lead nitrate to a solution of ammonium molybdate, concentration, and crystallization.
     
    Hazard:
    Toxic material. TLV: 0.15 mg(Pb)/m3.
     
    Use:
    Analytical chemistry, pigments. Single crystals are available for electronic and optical uses.
