The zinc calcium oxysulfide CaZnSO is stable in an
inert atmosphere up to 1370 K. At higher temperatures,
CaZnSO partially decomposes. The hexagonal cell
parameters of CaZnSO increase linearly with tempera-
ture, and its thermal expansion is almost isotropic.
