Uses
(+)-Vitisin A has been shown to reduce cell death and DNA fragmentation induced by sodium nitroprusside in SH-SY5Y cells and may contribute to protecting neuronal cells against nitrosative stress. Vitisin A is a natural phenol found in red wines. It is a pyranoanthocyanin.
