It is used as a precursor in the production of ethylsulfanyl)porphyrazinato)cobalt(II), which gives the possibility of intermolecular ferromagnetic interactions. Used in the preparation of a new complex, Co(OESPz), which offers the possibility of intermolecular ferromagnetic interactions.1
