Description
Nomegestrol acetate is the 19-nor derivative of megestrol acetate, useful in the treatment of gynecological conditions associated with luteal deficiency. Nomegestrol is a derivative of 19-norprogesterone. It increases nuclear levels of the progesterone receptor in rat uterus when administered at a dose of 1 mg/animal.
