Uses
Manufacture of explosives, experimentally in rocket fuels. Barium perchlorate, trihydrate, reagent is an extremely powerful oxidizing agent, and therefore commonly used in industry and pyrotechnics. It is also used in RPE-For analysis. It is used as an oxidizing agent, for gas drying, for ribonuclease determination and in the water analysis for sulfate titration with Thorin as indicator.
