Description
1,2-Dipalmitoyl-3-oleoyl-rac-glycerol is a triacylglycerol that contains palmitic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions and oleic acid (Item Nos. 90260 | 24659) at the sn-3 position. It has been found in Apiaceae seed oils, lard, and tallow, as well as palm oil, olein, and stearin. 1,2-Dipalmitoyl-3-oleoyl-rac-glycerol has been used as a substrate to determine the regioselectivity and substrate specificity of lipases from Geotrichum species.
