General Description
1(2H)-Naphthalenone, 3,4-dihydro-5-(2,3,5-tri-O-benzoyl-.beta.-D-ribofuranosyl)oxy- is a chemical compound with a complex structure that consists of a naphthalenone core attached to a ribofuranosyl group. The compound is composed of three benzoyl groups attached to a ribofuranosyl moiety, which in turn is linked to the naphthalenone core. 1(2H)-Naphthalenone, 3,4-dihydro-5-(2,3,5-tri-O-benzoyl-.beta.-D-ribofuranosyl)oxy- is often used in research and pharmaceutical settings for its potential therapeutic properties. It is important to handle this chemical with care and adhere to proper safety measures when working with it.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 195385-86-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,9,5,3,8 and 5 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 195385-86:
(8*1)+(7*9)+(6*5)+(5*3)+(4*8)+(3*5)+(2*8)+(1*6)=185
185 % 10 = 5
So 195385-86-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

ENZYME DETECTION/ASSAY METHOD AND SUBSTRATES
-
, (2008/06/13)
The invention relates to a method of detecting and/or assaying nucleoside hydrolases or nucleoside phosphorylases using a chromogenic substrate. Preferred chromogenic substrates have formula (I) where X is OH, or H, and Y is the residue of Y—OH where Y—OH is a chromophore or a compound readily converted to a chromophore and the substrates are hydrolysed by the nucleoside hydrolase to yield ribose or 2-deoxyribose plus Y—OH. Alternatively those substrates may be phosphorylysed by nucleoside phosphorylase to yield ribose-1-phosphate plus Y—OH. The methods may be used to detect and/or assay parasites in biological samples.
