Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 100073-65-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,0,0,7 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 6 and 5 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 100073-65:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*0)+(5*0)+(4*7)+(3*3)+(2*6)+(1*5)=62
62 % 10 = 2
So 100073-65-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Reaction of N-arylsulfonyl-p-quinonimines and semiquinoid compounds derived therefrom with arylsulfinic acids

Avdeenko,Zhukova,Menafova,Yusina

, p. 808 - 812 (2007/10/03)

N-Arylsulfonyl-2,3,5,6-tetrachloro-1,4-benzoquinonimines and 4-arylsulfonylimino-2,3,5,6,6-pentachloro-2-cyclohexen-1-ones react with arylsulfinic acids regioselectively along 6,1-addition. With 4-arylsulfonylimino-2,3,5,6,6-pentachloro-2-cyclohexen-1-ones the 6,1 addition is preceded by nucleophilic substitution of chlorine in position 2. With N-arylsulfonyl-2,3-dichloro-1,4-naphthoquinonimines, 4-arylsulfonyl-2,2,3-trichloro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-ones and 4-arylsulfonyl-2,2,3,3-tetrachloro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-1-ones occurred nucleophilic substitution of chlorine in position 2 followed by 6,1-addition of arylsulfinic acid molecule.

REACTION OF N-(p-TOLUENESULFONYL)-1,4-QUINONE MONOIMINES WITH p-TOLUENESULFINIC ACID

Nichvoloda, V. M.,Burmistrov, K. S.,Markov, V. I.

, p. 973 - 976 (2007/10/02)

Depending on the structure of the quinone imine, the reaction of N-(p-toluenesulfonyl)-1,4-quinone monoimines with p-toluenesulfinic acid leads to 1,6-, 6,1- or 6,3-addition products or to their mixtures. In the case of quinone imines substituted with halo
