1001054-52-9 Usage
Molecular weight
339.43 g/mol
Structure
A 2,8-diazaspiro[4.5]decane ring system with a carboxylic acid group, an 8-cyclobutyl group, and a 1,1-dimethylethyl ester group attached.
GABA-B receptor agonist
It binds to and activates the GABA-B receptors in the brain, which can have inhibitory effects on neuronal activity.
Therapeutic applications
Has potential for treating addiction, epilepsy, and neuropathic pain.
Ongoing research
Being studied for its potential to reduce alcohol consumption and addiction-related behaviors, as well as for treating conditions related to GABA receptor dysfunction.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1001054-52-9 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,0,0,1,0,5 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1001054-52:
(9*1)+(8*0)+(7*0)+(6*1)+(5*0)+(4*5)+(3*4)+(2*5)+(1*2)=59
59 % 10 = 9
So 1001054-52-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Substituted azaspiro derivatives of the Formula:are provided, in which variables are as described herein. Such compounds may be used to modulate ligand binding to histamine H3 receptors in vivo or in vitro, and are particularly useful in the treatment of a variety of central nervous system (CNS) and other disorders in humans, domesticated companion animals and livestock animals. Compounds provided herein may be administered alone or in combination with one or more other CNS agents to potentiate the effects of the other CNS agent(s). Pharmaceutical compositions and methods for treating such disorders are provided, as are methods for using such ligands for detecting histamine H3 receptors (e.g., receptor localization studies).
