The present invention relates to an organic compound and an organic electroluminescent element comprising the same, wherein the compound is represented by a chemical formula 1 shown in the specification. As a novel organic compound, the organic compound has a high T1 value and a deep HOMO energy level, a hole and an electron form a charge balance, and luminescence is realized inside a luminescent layer instead of a hole transport layer interface, thereby significantly improving the luminous efficiency and lifetime characteristics of an organic electroluminescent element. More specifically, the present invention provides an organic electroluminescent element having significantly improved luminous efficiency and lifespan.
