Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1026063-71-7 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,0,2,6,0,6 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1026063-71:
(9*1)+(8*0)+(7*2)+(6*6)+(5*0)+(4*6)+(3*3)+(2*7)+(1*1)=107
107 % 10 = 7
So 1026063-71-7 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Identification of MCHR1 antagonists with a preclinical safety profile to support clinical evaluation as antiobesity agents has been a challenge. Our finding that a basic moiety is not required for MCHR1 antagonists to achieve high affinity allowed us to explore structures less prone to off-target activities such as hERG inhibition. We report the SAR evolution of hydroxylated thienopyrimidinone ethers culminating in the identification of 27 (BMS-819881), which entered obesity clinical trials as the phosphate ester prodrug 35 (BMS-830216).
