Provided is a production method for N-(α-hydroxyethyl) formamide, having a step (1) in which a basic catalyst stored in a catalyst supply device and formamide are mixed in a mixing tank; and a step (2) in which the formamide mixed with the basic catalyst is brought in contact with acetaldehyde and N-(α-hydroxyethyl) formamide is obtained. In step (1), at least part of the catalyst supply device is vibrated while the basic catalyst is supplied to the mixing tank.

The invention discloses a synthesis method of N-vinylformamide. The synthesis method comprises the following steps: taking alkenyl succinic anhydride, acetaldehyde and formamide as raw materials and synthesizing an intermediate under the action of a basic catalyst; carrying out cracking reaction on the synthesized intermediate under the condition of 45 to 150 DEG C to obtain the N-vinylformamide.The synthesis method disclosed by the invention has the advantages of high yield, mild reaction conditions, easily-obtained raw materials, simple separation and the like; in addition, the synthesis method is lower in synthesis cost and good in industrial application prospect.

Processes and systems for producing N-vinyl carboxylic acid amides are provided herein. According to some aspects of the present invention, a process for producing an N-vinyl carboxylic acid amide is described that eliminates interim solids handling steps during formation of the intermediate compounds, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing cost. The processes and system described herein may be used for the synthesis of N-vinylformamide and its intermediates, including 1-hydroxyethylformamide and 1- alkoxyethylformamide, or for the synthesis of N-methyl,N-vinylformamide and its intermediates, including N-methyl,1-hydroxyethylformamide and N- methyl,1alkoxyethylformamide.
