Trimethylantimony(V) diacylates Me3Sb(OCOR)2 (R = H, Me, Ph) have been obtained in 72 - 75 percent yield by the interaction of trimethylantimony with tert-butylhydroperoxide and carboxylic acids at the ratio of 1:1:2 in benzene (20 deg C, 20 h) in the presence of sodium sulfate. - Key words: trimethylantimony(V) diacylates; synthesis, trimethylantimony; oxidative acylation.
