N,N'-Diaryl-2,2'-bi(naphthoquinone) 4,4'-diimines were obtained by the oxidation of N-aryl-1,4-naphthoquinone monoimines in an alkaline medium.When boiled in acetic acid, they isomerize to 5-arylamino-13-aryldibenzocarbazole-7,12-quinones.
