H-7 DIHYDROCHLORIDE, also known as a hydrochloride salt prepared from anileridine and two molar equivalents of hydrogen chloride, is a broad-based, cell-permeable, reversible, ATP-competitive serine-threonine kinase inhibitor. It is a white crystalline solid that potently inhibits various kinases, including myosin light chain kinase, protein kinase A, protein kinase C, and protein kinase G. H-7 DIHYDROCHLORIDE also induces apoptotic DNA fragmentation and cell death in certain cell types and inhibits telomerase activity.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 108930-17-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,8,9,3 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 108930-17:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*8)+(5*9)+(4*3)+(3*0)+(2*1)+(1*7)=122
122 % 10 = 2
So 108930-17-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Treatment of amyloidosis associated with Alzheimer disease using modulators of protein phosphorylation

-

, (2008/06/13)

A method of regulating phosphorylation of proteins involved in controlling processing or function of key proteins found in intracellular neurofibrillary tangles and extracellular amyloid plaques associated with Alzheimer disease comprising introducing an effective amount of a kinase modulator or phosphatase modulator, the modulator capable of increasing or decreasing the rate of proteolytic processing, or modulating the function, of said key proteins.
