Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 110047-50-2 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,1,0,0,4 and 7 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 110047-50:
(8*1)+(7*1)+(6*0)+(5*0)+(4*4)+(3*7)+(2*5)+(1*0)=62
62 % 10 = 2
So 110047-50-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Iron-catalyzed chemoselective hydride transfer reactions

Coufourier, Sébastien,Ndiaye, Daouda,Gaillard, Quentin Gaignard,Bettoni, Léo,Joly, Nicolas,Mbaye, Mbaye Diagne,Poater, Albert,Gaillard, Sylvain,Renaud, Jean-Luc

supporting information, (2021/06/07)

A Diaminocyclopentadienone iron tricarbonyl complex has been applied in chemoselective hydrogen transfer reductions. This bifunctional iron complex demonstrated a broad applicability in mild conditions in various reactions, such as reduction of aldehydes over ketones, reductive alkylation of various functionalized amines with functionalized aldehydes and reduction of α,β-unsaturated ketones into the corresponding saturated ketones. A broad range of functionalized substrates has been isolated in excellent yields with this practical procedure.

Iron-Catalyzed Chemoselective Reduction of α,β-Unsaturated Ketones

Lator, Alexis,Gaillard, Sylvain,Poater, Albert,Renaud, Jean-Luc

supporting information, p. 5770 - 5774 (2018/03/26)

An iron-catalyzed chemo- and diastereoselective reduction of α,β-unsaturated ketones into the corresponding saturated ketones in mild reaction conditions is reported herein. DFT calculations and experimental work underline that transfer hydride reduction is a more facile process than hydrogenation, unveiling the fundamental role of the base.

Syntheses of 2-methoxyestradiol and eugenol template based diarylpropenes as non-steroidal anticancer agents

Syntheses of 2-methoxyestradiol (1) and eugenol (6) template based conformationally flexible and rigid diarylpropenes, 14(a-l) and 20(a-e), as nonsteroidal anticancer agents have been performed. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their anticance

Synthesis of polysubstituted pyridines under combined microwave and ultrasound irradiation: K2CO3-promoted tandem addition/cyclization/hydrogen shift process

Feng, Huangdi,Li, Yuan,Van Der Eycken, Erik V.,Peng, Yanqing,Song, Gonghua

, p. 1160 - 1162 (2012/03/26)

A convenient and efficient K2CO3-promoted tandem reaction of chalcone, malononitrile, and methanol for the synthesis of highly functionalized pyridines has been developed. This multi-component reaction employing the weak nucleophilic agent methanol proceeded smoothly under combined microwave and ultrasound irradiation (CMUI). The reaction mechanism was proposed to consist of a Michael addition, a methoxylation of CN bond, a cyclization to a 1,4-dihydropyridine and an intermolecular hydrogen shift between 1,4-dihydropyridine and initial chalcone.

Combretastatin-like chalcones as inhibitors of microtubule polymerization. Part 1: Synthesis and biological evaluation of antivascular activity

Ducki, Sylvie,Rennison, David,Woo, Meiko,Kendall, Alexander,Chabert, Jeremie Fournier Dit,McGown, Alan T.,Lawrence, Nicholas J.

experimental part, p. 7698 - 7710 (2010/03/24)

The α-methyl chalcone SD400 is a potent inhibitor of tubulin assembly and possesses potent anticancer activity. Various chalcone analogues were synthesized and evaluated for their cell growth inhibitory properties against the K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line (SD400, IC50 0.21 nM; combretastatin A4 CA4, IC50 2.0 nM). Cell cycle analysis by flow cytometry indicated that these agents are antimitotic (SD400, 83% of the cells are in G2/M phase; CA4 90%). They inhibit tubulin assembly at low concentration (SD400, IC50 0.46 μM; CA4, 0.10 μM) and compete with [3H]colchicine for binding to tubulin (8% [3H]colchicine remained bound to tubulin after competition with SD400 or CA4). Upon treatment with SD400, remarkable cell shape changes were elicited in HUVEC cells, consistent with vasculature damaging activity.
