Three new analogs of the octapeptide - 6-13 fragment of angiotensinogen: H-Pro-His-Pro-Phe-His-Phe-Phe-ε Ahx-OH (1), H-Pro-His-Pro-D-Phe-His-D-Phe-D-Leu-Val-D-Phe-OH (2) and H-Pro-His-Pro-D-Phe-His-ε Ahx-Val-D-Phe-OH (3)were synthesized by the solid phase method to obtain the potent resistant to enzymatic degradation inhibitors of renin.IC50 of compound 1 was 5.0*10-7 M, of compound 2 3.6*10-7 M, and compound 3 did not inhibit renin activity up to 2.0*10-4 M.
