Metal-catalyzed ntrogen extrusion from acyl(α-diazoacyl)hydrazines of type 7a - c, e yields the hitherto unknown 2H-1,3,4-oxadiazin-2-ones (9a - c, e).The structure of 9a has been clarified by X-ray crystallograhy.
