Synthesis of various pyrazoloquinolines, pyrroloindazoles, pyranoindazoles and furoindazoles is described.The synthesis involves reaction of 6-aminoindazoles and 6-hydroxyindazoles with suitable reactants like malondialdehydes, benzoin and ethyl acetoacetate.The fluorescence behaviour of such heterocycles has been studied.
