Complex formation of Cu(II) with N-salicyloyl derivatives of some amino acids has been studied by equilibrium method at 25, 30, 35 and 45 deg C in 50percent v/v aq. ethanol and at μ = 0.2 M (NaNO3).Thermodynamic parameters associated with complexation equilibria have been correlated with the structure and bonding of the complexes.
