Several new polysubstituted s-triazolopyrimidines have been synthesised via the reaction of α-substituted cinnamonitriles (Ia-j) with 3-amino-5-methyl-s-triazole (II).The reaction of II with benzoin yields the imidazotriazole derivative (XI).
