Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 118-50-3 includes 6 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 3 digits, 1,1 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 5 and 0 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 118-50:
(5*1)+(4*1)+(3*8)+(2*5)+(1*0)=43
43 % 10 = 3
So 118-50-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
