Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1184663-79-3 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,1,8,4,6,6 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1184663-79:
(9*1)+(8*1)+(7*8)+(6*4)+(5*6)+(4*6)+(3*3)+(2*7)+(1*9)=183
183 % 10 = 3
So 1184663-79-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Paragraph 0056, (2016/12/16)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound that considerably reduces hysteresis loss of a rubber composition, considerably improves abrasion resistance, and exhibits stability even in air.SOLUTION: An organosilicon compound comprises, in a molecule: one or more sulfur atom (S); one or more silicon atom (Si); and one or more nitrogen atom (N), wherein the silicon atom (Si) has one Si-O bond and three Si-C bonds. It is preferable that a functional group containing an aminoalkyl group is bonded to the silicon atom.

Page/Page column 10, (2010/11/17)

This invention relates to a novel compound capable of largely reducing hysteresis loss of a rubber composition but also highly improving wear resistance, and more particularly to an organosilicon compound characterized by having one or more silicon-oxygen bond (Si-O) and 1-10 sulfur atoms (S) in its molecule, including one or more chain alkoxy groups and having one or more nitrogen atoms (N) at a position distant by 3-8 atoms from silicon atom (Si).
