Trienylgallium, also known as triethylgallium, is an organogallium compound with the chemical formula (C2H5)3Ga. It is a colorless, volatile, and highly reactive liquid that is sensitive to air and moisture. Trienylgallium is primarily used as a precursor in the synthesis of gallium-containing compounds and as a dopant in the semiconductor industry. Due to its high reactivity, it is essential to handle trienylgallium with extreme caution, using appropriate safety measures and equipment to prevent exposure and potential hazards.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 1188-13-2 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,1,8 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1188-13:
(6*1)+(5*1)+(4*8)+(3*8)+(2*1)+(1*3)=72
72 % 10 = 2
So 1188-13-2 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Spektroskopische Untersuchungen von Organovinylderivaten des Galliums und Indiums

Fries, W.,Sille, K.,Weidlen, J.,Haaland, A.

, p. 611 - 620 (1980)

The 1H- and 13C-NMR spectra as well as the i.r. and Raman spectra of Ga(CH=CH2)3, In(CH=CH2)3 and some substitution products and adducts have been recorded. The various preparations are briefly mentioned and the spectroscopic results are discussed.Molecular associations via vinyl bridges (observed for n and n with M=Ga, In and n=1.5-3) using a ?-complex type linkage of the monomers can be ruled out.In the derivatives (CH2=CH)2M-X (with X=-Cl, -OMe, -CCMe) and the adducts (CH2=CH)3M*OMe2 only terminally bonded vinyl ligands are present.
