(Chemical Presented) Exocyclic enol ethers served as starting materials for the synthesis of [n,5]-spiroketals (n = 5, 6). A metal-mediated cyclopropanation using ethyl diazoacetate afforded spiroannelated cyclopropane derivatives bearing an ester group.
