Usage

General Description

Dexloxiglumide is a selective and competitive antagonist of cholecystokinin (CCK) receptors, specifically the CCKA receptors. It is used as an investigational drug for the treatment of various gastrointestinal disorders, such as functional dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome. By blocking the action of CCK, dexloxiglumide reduces the release of digestive enzymes and bile from the pancreas and gallbladder, which may help alleviate symptoms of these conditions. It is thought to work by modulating the visceral hypersensitivity and gastrointestinal motility associated with these disorders. Dexloxiglumide is still under investigation and has not been approved for clinical use in most countries.

Preparation method of dexloxiglumide

The invention discloses a preparation method of dexloxiglumide. The preparation method comprises the following steps: carrying out an acylation reaction on N-boc-D-glutamic acid-5-benzyl ester with N-(3-methoxypropyl)-amylamine by a mixed anhydride method, then removing boc groups to obtain the following compound, then carrying out a reaction on the obtained compound with 3,4-dichlorobenzoyl chloride to generate the following compound, and finally removing benzyl groups to obtain dexloxiglumide. Compared with the prior art, the method provided by the invention is simpler in operation and is more efficient.
