Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 12014-97-0 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,2,0,1 and 4 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 9 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 12014-97:
(7*1)+(6*2)+(5*0)+(4*1)+(3*4)+(2*9)+(1*7)=60
60 % 10 = 0
So 12014-97-0 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Fermi surface of CeTe

Nakayama,Yamamizu,Kaya,Kimura,Aoki,Ochiai,Terakura,Terashima,Uji

, p. 208 - 210 (2001)

CeTe is a typical Kondo lattice compound with antiferromagnetic ordering at 2 K. We have succeeded in observing the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) effect of CeTe. The dHvA frequencies denoted by a can be explained by the three equivalent ellipsoidal Fermi surfaces at the X points of the Brilluoin zone. We have discovered the splitting of the a branch into the α1 and α2 branches in most of the field directions, which is attributed to splitting of the up and down Fermi surfaces. The relatively large difference between the effective masses of α1 is α2 is observed for the field along the [111] direction.

T-x-y diagram of the Ce-Bi-Te system

Mamedova,Sadygov,Il'yasly,Ismailov

, p. 319 - 322 (2009)

The character of phase interaction in the Ce-Bi-Te ternary system has been investigated by differential thermal, X-ray diffraction, and microstructural analyses, as well as by the measurement of microhardness and density of alloys. Phase diagrams of eight
